ServiceNow Workflow Consultant

As a ServiceNow Workflow Consultant, you will

• Leverage ServiceNow platform expertise and workflow domain knowledge to design efficient workflows aligned with customer journeys and business objectives.
• Analyze customer requirements and translate them into effective workflow solutions using ServiceNow capabilities and industry best practices.
• Develop user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer documentation to ensure consistent and successful project delivery.
• Guide customers in creating, reviewing, and approving user stories, acceptance criteria, and testing strategies.
• Collaborate with product teams to share customer insights, recommend improvements, and promote best practices.
• Resolve escalations from junior team members and take ownership of complex functional issues.
• Coach and mentor Associate Business Process Consultants, supporting their professional development and delivery performance.
• Lead customer engagements independently, ensuring proposed workflows meet business requirements and customer expectations.
• Maintain relevant ServiceNow skills and certifications aligned with the assigned workflow domain.
• Leverage AI-powered tools and capabilities to streamline workflows, improve decision-making, generate insights, and support business process optimization.

What You Bring to the Table

• 6-8 years of overall professional experience, with at least 5 years of experience in a professional services organization or equivalent education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of the ServiceNow platform, workflow capabilities, and business process consulting.
• Experience designing and optimizing workflows based on customer requirements and business objectives.
• Hands-on experience developing user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and knowledge transfer documents.
• Experience working directly with customers to gather requirements, validate solutions, and support implementation.
• Experience handling complex issues, resolving escalations, and guiding junior team members.
• Relevant ServiceNow certifications aligned with the specific workflow domain.
• Understanding of AI concepts, AI-powered tools, ethical considerations, and their application in business processes.
• Experience or demonstrated interest in integrating AI into workflows, automation, decision-making, and problem-solving.

You should possess the ability to

• Translate business requirements and customer journey needs into practical, value-driven ServiceNow workflow solutions.
• Lead customer engagements and manage assigned projects independently.
• Analyze complex functional issues, identify root causes, and drive effective resolutions.
• Create clear and structured user stories, acceptance criteria, testing strategies, and documentation.
• Train customers to develop their own user stories and testing strategies while guiding them through review and approval.
• Coach and mentor junior consultants and support their professional development.
• Collaborate effectively with customers, product teams, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Apply AI tools under guidance to improve workflow efficiency, generate insights, and support strategic initiatives.
• Explain relevant AI capabilities, use cases, and ethical considerations in customer contexts.
• Adapt to changing customer needs, promote continuous improvement, and maintain up-to-date technical and functional expertise.
