Strong expertise in Alteryx Designer is essential for building scalable, reusable workflows that ensure data accuracy, completeness, consistency, and auditability throughout the migration lifecycle.\n\nThe successful candidate will work closely with SAP Finance functional consultants, business stakeholders, data owners, technical teams, and project management teams to plan and execute migration activities from initial assessment through mock migrations, cutover, reconciliation, and post-migration validation.\n\nKey Responsibilities :\n1. SAP S/4HANA Finance Data Migration\nLead and execute end-to-end data migration activities for SAP S/4HANA Finance implementations and transformation projects.\nDefine migration scope, data objects, migration strategy, timelines, dependencies, and execution plans.\nCoordinate data extraction, profiling, cleansing, transformation, validation, loading, and reconciliation activities.\nParticipate in migration workshops with Finance, SAP functional, business, and technical teams.\nExecute mock migration cycles, identify defects, resolve data issues, and support cutover and go-live activities.\nEnsure migrated financial data meets business requirements, data quality standards, and audit expectations.\n2. Finance Data Objects and Mapping\nPerform source-to-target field-level mapping for SAP S/4HANA Finance data objects.\nWork with financial master data and transactional data, including:\nGeneral Ledger (GL) and Chart of Accounts (CoA)\nProfit Centers and Cost Centers\nBusiness Partners (BP) and Customer/Vendor Integration (CVI)\nAccounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP)\nFixed Assets and Asset Accounting\nTax-related master data\nBank master data and related financial information\nAnalyze source-system structures, target-system requirements, mapping rules, transformation logic, and dependencies.\nCollaborate with SAP Finance functional teams to resolve mapping gaps, data inconsistencies, and business-rule exceptions.\nUnderstand relevant SAP data structures and tables, including ACDOCA, BKPF, BSEG, SKA1, SKB1, LFA1, LFB1, KNA1, and ANLA.\n3. Alteryx Data Profiling, Cleansing and Transformation\nDevelop, maintain, and optimize Alteryx Designer workflows for large-scale data migration activities.\nPerform data profiling, parsing, cleansing, standardization, validation, deduplication, fuzzy matching, joins, pivots, and transformation.\nBuild reusable and parameterized workflows, macros, and mapping tables to support repeatable migration cycles.\nImplement data quality rules, exception handling, reference-data management, and validation checks.\nIdentify missing values, duplicate records, inconsistent formats, invalid master data, and other migration risks.\nOptimize workflow performance and implement appropriate logging, traceability, and data lineage practices.\nCollaborate with business and technical stakeholders to improve data quality before loading data into SAP S/4HANA.\n4. SAP Migration Cockpit and Data Loading\nExecute data loads using SAP S/4HANA Migration Cockpit, including staging-table or direct-transfer approaches where applicable.\nUnderstand migration object templates, source structures, mapping requirements, dependencies, and load sequencing.\nPrepare and validate migration files or staging data before loading.\nMonitor migration execution, analyze error logs, troubleshoot failed records, and coordinate defect resolution.\nReprocess corrected records and validate successful loading into the target SAP environment.\nSupport mock loads, dress rehearsals, production cutover, and post-go-live data validation.\nWork with SAP functional and technical teams to resolve loading errors and migration object issues.\n5. Financial Reconciliation and Data Validation\nPerform pre-migration and post-migration reconciliation to confirm the accuracy and completeness of migrated financial data.\nReconcile trial balances, General Ledger balances, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, fixed assets, and bank-related data.\nValidate record counts, financial balances, debit/credit totals, opening balances, and key control totals.\nInvestigate reconciliation differences and coordinate corrective actions with Finance and SAP teams.\nPrepare reconciliation reports, migration sign-off documentation, issue logs, and audit-ready evidence.\nEnsure migration results meet agreed acceptance criteria and financial control requirements.\n6. Migration Planning, Cutover and Stakeholder Coordination\nDevelop migration plans, mock-cycle schedules, cutover checklists, issue trackers, and reconciliation templates.\nCoordinate migration dependencies across Finance, SAP functional, technical, data, and business teams.\nTrack migration progress, data quality metrics, defects, risks, and outstanding dependencies.\nSupport go/no-go assessments, cutover rehearsals, production migration, and stabilization activities.\nMaintain clear documentation of mapping rules, transformation logic, data quality findings, load results, and reconciliation outcomes.\nCommunicate migration status, risks, and remediation plans to project stakeholders.\n\nRequired Technical Skills :\nSAP S/4HANA Finance\nHands-on experience in SAP data migration, preferably for SAP S/4HANA Finance.\nStrong understanding of Finance master data and transactional data migration.\nKnowledge of GL, CoA, Profit Centers, Cost Centers, Business Partners/CVI, AR/AP, Asset Accounting, Tax, and Bank Master data.\nFamiliarity with SAP tables such as ACDOCA, BKPF/BSEG, SKA1/SKB1, LFA1/LFB1, KNA1, and ANLA.\nPractical experience with SAP S/4HANA pivoting.\nUnderstanding of data quality rules, mapping tables, reference data, logging, lineage, and workflow optimization.\nData and Reconciliation\nStrong SQL skills for data extraction, validation, and analysis.\nAdvanced Excel skills for mapping, reconciliation, data validation, and reporting.\nAbility to investigate data discrepancies, resolve migration defects, and maintain accurate documentation.\n\nExperience and Qualifications :\n5–8 years of relevant SAP data migration experience.\nExperience delivering 1–2 full-cycle SAP S/4HANA Finance migration projects.\nDemonstrated hands-on experience in migration planning, data mapping, transformation, loading, reconciliation, and cutover.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder-management skills.\nAbility to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.\n\nGood to Have :\nExperience with SAP BODS, SAP MDG, or SAP CPI.\nExposure to Alteryx Server and enterprise workflow management.\nBasic knowledge of SAP Ariba supplier and purchase-order data.\nExperience with SAP ECC-to-S/4HANA migration or multi-system consolidation.\nFamiliarity with data
