As search evolves from traditional search engines to AI-driven answer engines, this role sits at the forefront of digital innovation, ensuring our productions remain visible, relevant, and discoverable across every stage of the customer journey.\nYou will define and execute the search visibility strategy across multiple European markets, combining deep expertise in Search Engine Optimization (SEO) with emerging Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) practices. Working closely with Product, E- Commerce, Commercial, Marketing and Content teams, you will translate search opportunities into measurable business impact, supporting ticket sales, customer environment.\nSpecific responsibilities\nStrategy & Leadership\nDefine and own the SEO and GEO roadmap across the Netherlands, Germany, France and Spain.\nEstablish search visibility as a key commercial growth driver, aligned with broader E-Commerce and business objectives\nMonitor developments in AI-powered search and translate emerging opportunities into actionable business strategies\nPrioritize initiatives based on business impact, customer value and technical feasibility.\nGenerative Engine Optimization (GEO)\nDevelop Stage Entertainment's approach to AI search and answer engines.\nOptimize content structures, metadata and technical implementations to improve visibility and representation in generative search results.\nEstablish best practices for AI-readable content and structured information architecture.\nContinuously monitor AI search developments and identify opportunities to strengthen visibility across new platforms and experiences.\nSEO Excellence\nDrive technical, on-page and content SEO improvements across Stage Entertainment's digital ecosystem.\nImprove crawlability, indexation, page performance, site architecture and structured data implementation.\nCollaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure SEO best practices are embedded into platform development.\nLead keyword and search intent strategies tailored to individual markets and customer journeys.\nCross-Market Collaboration\nPartner with local Commercial, Marketing and E-Commerce teams to align execution with market-specific needs.\nEnsure consistency in approach while adapting strategies to different languages, cultures and audience behaviors.\nShare best practices and drive knowledge exchange across markets.\nPerformance & Optimization\nDefine success metrics and performance frameworks for both SEO and GEO initiatives.\nMonitor rankings, visibility, traffic, engagement and conversion performance.\nProvide actionable insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders.\nTranslate complex search data into clear business outcomes and strategic recommendations.\nTeam & Vendor Management\nManage and develop specialist resources and external SEO/GEO partners where required.\nEnsure agencies and external vendors deliver measurable value and align with Stage Entertainment's objectives.\nBuild internal capabilities and foster search expertise across the wider organization.\nQualifications and experience\nWe're looking for a forward-thinking digital leader who combines strategic vision with hands-on expertise and a passion for innovation.\nYou bring:\n5+ years of relevant professional experience in SEO, GEO/AI search, digital marketing, or a related field, preferably within a creative marketing environment.\nBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related field.\nProven experience leading SEO strategy at a senior or lead level, ideally within an international and multi-market environment.\nStrong expertise in both traditional SEO and Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), with a clear understanding of how AI-powered search is transforming customer discovery.\nSolid technical SEO knowledge, including site architecture, structured data, crawl and index management, page performance and Core Web Vitals.\nExperience working closely with Product, Engineering, Content and Commercial teams to translate search strategies into measurable business results.\nAbility to operate strategically and hands-on, balancing roadmap development, stakeholder management and execution.\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to turn data and insights into actionable recommendations and commercial growth opportunities.\nExcellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to influence senior decision-makers across multiple markets.\nFluency in English is required, fluency in Dutch, German, French and/or Spanish is a nice to have.\nExperience within E-Commerce, ticketing, travel, entertainment or another high-intent consumer-facing industry is a plus\nExperience managing external agencies or specialist SEO/GEO
