We're looking for a reliable and proactive Bus Shunter / Vehicle Cleaner / Bus Wash Operative to join our team at Lincoln Depot.\nWorking as part of a close-knit team, you'll be responsible for fuelling, washing, parking, and cleaning our fleet of approximately 85 vehicles, helping to ensure they are ready for service each day.\nWhat you'll be doing\nFueling buses as they return to the depot after service.\nWashing and cleaning the exterior of vehicles to maintain high presentation standards.\nOperating exterior vehicle wash\nSafely parking and shunting buses around the depot.\nSweeping and cleaning vehicle interiors.\nCarrying out interior, exterior, engine bay, and under-chassis cleaning of company vehicles.\nCleaning depot facilities, including offices, workshops, welfare areas, and other operational spaces.\nCompleting and maintaining accurate records, including fuel records, cleaning schedules, and vehicle information.\nCarrying out regular checks on cleaning equipment, tools, and supplies.\nFollowing all Stagecoach safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.\nWhat we're looking for\nA positive and reliable team player with a strong work ethic.\nGood communication and interpersonal skills.\nPrevious experience in cleaning, vehicle presentation, facilities, logistics, or a similar operational environment would be advantageous.\nExcellent attention to detail and pride in maintaining high standards.\nA proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently when required.\nA good understanding of health and safety practices.\nA full UK driving licence is desirable.
