Position Overview:

The 2027 K-Star Analyst Programs are an opportunity for you to join a leading investment services firm, directly out of your undergraduate career.

We are recruiting for multiple Analyst Programs at K-Star, which include a Direct Lending Underwriting Program and a Special Servicing Program. These programs (July 2027 - July 2029) offer deep exposure to the full credit lifecycle and clear learning and development milestones. At the conclusion of the program, exceptional performers may be offered continued employment based on mutual interest and business needs.

Direct Lending Underwriting Analyst Program

Analysts will build analytical and professional skills by working on live deals during all stages of the transaction lifecycle, from origination to deal closing, and will work collaboratively with members of the K-Star and KKR Real Estate Credit originations teams to make investments out of KKR’s various investment vehicles (including senior loans, mezz loans, and preferred equity investments). Analysts will be responsible for property-level underwriting, market research, and closing diligence, and will be expected to participate in deal presentations and present their recommendations to the investment committee. Qualified candidates will also be expected to participate in special projects and assignments related to the growth of the KKR Real Estate and K-Star platforms.

Special Servicing Analyst Program

Analysts will rotate through three Special Servicing functions, spending eight months with each of the Asset Management, Due Diligence, and Portfolio Analytics teams, gaining foundational exposure to the key tenets of the business and developing the core competencies for success. On the Asset Management team, analysts will help with resolution management and modification of loan provisions with the goal of preserving collateral for non-performing loans. On the Due Diligence team, Analysts will help evaluate risk factors and pricing and present scenario analysis to aid in decision making. On the Portfolio Analytics team, Analysts will help monitor and report on the sponsor/borrower, underlying assets, market conditions and identify and mitigate risk. Qualified candidates will also be expected to participate in special projects and assignments related to the growth of the platform.
