We’re seeking an experienced Senior Early Careers Technical Recruiter with a strong technical recruiting background, strategic mindset, and passion for connecting emerging talent with the right career opportunities.\nIn this role, you will manage early careers talent pipelines, screen and assess candidates, and partner closely with hiring teams to match qualified talent with opportunities across software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and related technical disciplines.\nWe are looking for recruiters who understand the unique dynamics of university and early careers recruiting, can effectively evaluate technical talent, and thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Automotive industry experience is a strong plus, but not required.\nWhat You’ll Do\nManage and maintain pipeline requisitions for university and early careers technical talent, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified candidates.\nScreen and assess candidates to understand their technical backgrounds, academic experience, projects, internships, career interests, and overall qualifications.\nMatch qualified candidates with appropriate opportunities and hiring teams based on technical skills, interests, and business needs.\nPartner closely with hiring managers, recruiters, and business leaders to understand current and anticipated early careers hiring needs.\nBuild and maintain strong talent pipelines across software, hardware, and engineering disciplines.\nDevelop relationships with candidates and maintain engagement throughout the recruiting and placement process.\nIdentify and engage talent through university recruiting programs, campus partnerships, referrals, networking, and targeted sourcing.\nProvide guidance and recommendations to hiring teams regarding candidate alignment, technical qualifications, and talent availability.\nMaintain accurate candidate records, pipeline activity, and requisition updates within ATS and CRM platforms.\nDeliver a positive candidate experience through consistent communication, timely follow-up, and effective coordination with hiring teams.\nWhat We’re Looking For\nBachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.\nStrong recruiting experience, preferably supporting university recruiting, early careers programs, new graduate hiring, or technical engineering recruitment.\nExperience managing talent pipelines, screening candidates, and matching qualified talent with hiring teams.\nUnderstanding of technical disciplines, particularly software engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or related fields.\nAbility to assess candidate qualifications beyond resumes, including technical projects, internships, academic coursework, and relevant experience.\nExperience partnering with multiple hiring managers and navigating changing business priorities.\nStrong candidate relationship management, communication, and organizational skills.\nExperience using ATS and CRM platforms; Eightfold experience is highly preferred.\nAbility to manage high-volume candidate pipelines while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and a strong candidate experience.\nSelf-motivated, resourceful, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced environment.\nExperience recruiting within automotive, mobility, manufacturing, aerospace, robotics, or other engineering-driven industries is a plus.\nPreferred Experience\nPrevious experience supporting university recruiting programs, internship-to-full-time conversions, or new graduate engineering hiring.\nExperience working within automotive, EV, mobility, or advanced technology environments.\nFamiliarity with engineering university programs, technical degree requirements, and early careers recruiting cycles.\nDemonstrated success managing large candidate pipelines and partnering with multiple hiring teams to drive placement decisions.\nTechnical Specializations\nSoftware Engineering Recruiter\nWill focus on early careers candidates across software engineering and related disciplines, including:\nSoftware Development and Computer Science\nEmbedded Software and Firmware\nComputer Engineering\nCloud, Data, and AI/ML\nSoftware Systems and Controls\nHardware Engineering Recruiter\nWill focus on early careers candidates across hardware and engineering disciplines, including:\nMechanical Engineering\nElectrical and Electronics Engineering\nHardware Design and Development\nMechatronics and Robotics\nSystems Engineering, Validation, and Testing\nWhat’s in It for You?\nSustainable Talent partners with innovative organizations ranging from high-growth startups to global industry leaders.
