We have a strong people-first culture, a record-setting safety record, and we leverage technology to enhance the effectiveness of project.\nAbout the role The Project Manager 2 works out of Stansell Electric’s Knoxville office, assisting\nin all aspects of daily management, supervision, coordination and successful completion of construction\nprojects.This includes optimizing time and cost objectives with respect to contracting, scheduling, estimating/bidding, and contract administration functions. The project manager shall have the sole project responsibility from project conception through completion. The ideal candidate will have experience with transportation, infrastructure, ITS, unit priced projects.Advancement opportunities are available by advancing to more senior positions or through transfer to skilled trades.\nWhat you'll do\nFinancial Management\nWIP: prepare, understand \"what\" the data means\nAble to complete Change Order pricing, AP/AR, POs, subcontracts, schedule of values, productivity\nBilling Strategy/Management: timing, under/over, stored material\nContracts: Follow the contract review process, with assessment from more senior PM's\nCost to complete forecast\nTeaching/leveraging PM1's\nUnit Price: pay items, quantities, RQs\nBuild and maintain schedules, keep track of change orders, and resourcing needs\nIdentify and mitigate risk\nScope Management\nStakeholder input\nTeach PM1's and field leaders\nRead/ interpret/ apply construction drawings/ vender shop drawings and specifications \nBasic estimating understanding for CO scope collection\nFollows the SEC project delivery methodology\nCompleted PM 101 Training\nDemonstrates expected behaviors\nUnderstands contract language & requirements \nCaptures IF risks and mitigation plan in place\nCommunicates between Subcontractors, Customers, Owners, Vendors, Negotiating \nIdentifies cost component inaccuracies\nUnderstands Plans & Specs\nInterfaces with project level personnel \nIntermediate conflict resolution & negotiating skills \nInitiates customer relationship management \nAdvanced internal communication & collaboration skills\nCompetent with Microsoft Suite of applications.\nCompetent with cloud-based, and local storage solutions.\nCompetent with Company-specific software.\nBasic understanding of third-party construction / project management software platforms.\nQualifications\nSmarts, Skills.
