The role will work closely with Risk, Business, Finance, Collections, Operations and Technology teams to maintain high-quality reporting and support regulatory and management requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\nExecute periodic WRB regulatory reporting processes, including provision calculation and PSGL reconciliation.\nPrepare and report loan impairment results and other regulatory indicators to internal and external stakeholders.\nCollect, consolidate and validate data across different teams, including delinquency, NPL, loan impairment, provision balance and ECL data.\nPerform reconciliation and variance analysis, investigate discrepancies and follow through on reporting queries.\nEnsure regulatory reports are accurate and submitted within required timelines, including reports required by HKMA and other relevant regulators.\nSupport continuous improvement of reporting processes, data quality and reporting efficiency.\nDevelop reporting and analytical capabilities through tools such as SAS and/or Python.\nSupport other operational activities and projects as required.\nWork closely with WRB Risk, WRB Business, WRB Operations, Collections, Finance and Technology teams.\nSkills and Experience\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with good attention to detail.\nGood understanding of data reconciliation and variance analysis.\nStrong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.\nAble to work independently and follow through on issues.\nGood communication and stakeholder management skills.\nGood command of spoken and written English.\nBasic programming or data analytical skills using SAS and/or Python.\nQualifications\n3+ years of relevant experience in banking operations, regulatory reporting, risk/finance reporting, or data analytics. Experience in retail banking regulatory reporting is preferred.\nBasic accounting knowledge, including PSGL posting and reconciliation, would be an advantage.\nExperience handling credit-related data such as delinquency, NPL, impairment, provision or ECL would be preferred.\nRelevant banking or TBAF certifications would be an advantage.\nRegulatory & Business Conduct\nDisplay exemplary conduct and uphold the Bank’s Values and Code of Conduct.\nTake personal responsibility for maintaining high standards of ethics, regulatory compliance and business conduct.\nIdentify, escalate and support the resolution of risk, conduct and compliance matters.\nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
