This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced audit professional who thrives in a dynamic international banking environment and is passionate about making actual impact and developing quickly.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead and Deliver High-Impact Audits\nLead and execute internal audit engagements across SCB AG and support Group Internal Audit assignments where required.\nPlan, manage, and deliver audits from scoping through reporting.\nOversee audit budgets, timelines, and resource allocation.\nIdentify, assess, and communicate key risks, control gaps, and audit findings.\nDeliver high-quality audit products.\nDrive Risk and Control Excellence\nEvaluate the effectiveness of risk management, and internal control frameworks.\nProvide independent challenge and constructive recommendations to improve business processes.\nSupport ongoing risk assessments and contribute to audit planning processes. \nMonitor emerging risks, industry developments, and regulatory expectations in real time. \nPartner with Senior Stakeholders\nBuild trusted relationships with (senior) business leaders, control functions, regulators, and external auditors.\nClearly communicate complex risk and control concepts to a wide range of stakeholders.\nRepresent Internal Audit in governance committees and management forums when required.\nProvide local expertise and support to global audit teams.\nContribute Beyond Audit Delivery\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives within the Internal Audit function.\nMentor colleagues and contribute to a culture of learning and development.\nHelp identify talent and promote best practices across the team.\nChampion Standard Chartered’s values and commitment to ethical conduct.\nWhat We're Looking For\nEssential Skills & Experience\nExperience within Internal Audit, Risk Management, a related banking environment or professional services such as Risk Advisory/Consulting or External Audit.\nStrong understanding of risk and control frameworks within financial services.\nExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and investigative skills.\nAbility to communicate clearly and confidently with senior management.\nExperience leading audit assignments or similar projects and managing multiple priorities.\nStrong stakeholder management and influencing skills.\nHigh level of integrity, professional judgement, and independence.\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a global team.\nUnderstanding of the banking environment, CIB business, banking regulation and processed including associated risks and controls.\nIdeally prior experience in risk management, particularly in ICAAP, ILAAP, treasury risk, market risk, credit risk, or general risk-management processes within a German- or European-regulated bank.\nPreferred Qualifications\nProfessional audit qualification such as CIA, CISA, ACCA, CPA, ACA, or equivalent.\n\nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
