In the mass retail space, we're focused on emerging affluent clients who will progress in their wealth journey with us and form the pipeline of future affluent clients.\nWe’re a leading wealth manager in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Our comprehensive product offerings span across deposits, payments, financing, advisory, investments and bancassurance.\nWe’re investing USD $1.5 billion in our Affluent banking business. Our investment focuses on affluent frontline teams, wealth and digital platforms, and client centres, as well as brand and marketing, to drive growth. You’ll join a growing franchise within the Standard Chartered Group.\nKey Responsibilities\nSource and engage individual prospects to acquire new business. \nConduct professional, consultative financial analysis sessions with customers. \nIdentify and articulate customers’ specific financial needs and objectives, offering targeted solutions. \nFoster and deepen client relationships by providing regular market updates and financial product trend analysis (both local and international). \nParticipate in marketing and promotional activities aimed at successful customer acquisition. \nSkills and Experience\nStrong competencies in client acquisition and sophisticated account management, particularly with High Net Worth (HNW) individuals. \nExpertise in region-specific languages and established local networks (highly valued). \nTechnical knowledge of consumer banking products (Treasury, Equities, Funds, and Insurance). \nA university degree is preferred. \nRelevant experience in customer service or sales is an advantage; however, applications from fresh graduates who possess the required skills and qualifications will also be considered. \nQualifications\nEssential professional qualifications: HKSI Paper 1, 7, 8 and IIQE Paper 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 \nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're a global bank connecting clients to our differentiated network, offering growth opportunities in the world's most dynamic markets.
