The portfolio now spans EESP, VMIS and ASA, with significant expansion planned over the next 12-24 months through new platform onboarding, strategic transformation programmes, and ownership transitions from delivery teams into PET SRE. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.\nEffectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.\nSkills and Experience\nSkills Required:\nThe Lead SRE role is accountable for:\nAIVM\nQualys Guard\nSonatype\nEnd-to-end production stability across EESP, VMIS and ASA platforms\nMajor Incident leadership\nProblem Management\nProduction Governance\nOperational Risk Management\nChange Governance\nService Availability Management\nRather than simply supporting production, the role owns operational resilience for security platforms protecting the Bank.Vulnerability Management :\nExperience with tools such as Qualys, SonaType Nexus Repository, Aqua\nPatch management workflows.\nRisk prioritization based on CVSS scoring and asset criticality.\nAbility to correlate vulnerabilities with business impact.\nOperating Systems:\nStrong knowledge of Linux and Windows Server environments\nTechnical Skills\nScripting skills preferred (e.g., Rundeck, Python)\nCOP Tools, ITRS\nNetwork & security:\nBasic understanding of firewalls and firewall rules\nDocumentation & Reporting:\nCreating incident and compliance reports\nMaintaining SOPs and playbooks for common security events or other technical issues\nQualifications\npostgraduate with security products exposure\nAt least 15 - 20 years hands-on experience preferably with CSS applications and vulnerability management.\nDemonstrated experience in managing production server security in 24*7 support models.\nExperience working in Service now, ITSM tools or SOC environments is a strong plus.\nAny industry certifications such as Comp TIA Security + or equivalent preferred\nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
