The responsibilities details are:\nStrategy\nEstablish a catalogue of user interface components, drive standardization of user interfaces, proactively identify re-usable user interface assets and establish a delivery plan for re-usable assets.\nEnsure consistency in design elements and layouts across different browsers, markets and devices.\nEstablish CI/CD pipeline for iOS, Android, HarmonyNext, web development & web content management including associated processes\nDefine technology strategy & roadmap to create micro services, re-usable APIs and its integration for platforms and applications across WRB.\nProvide inputs in technology evaluations, RFPs related to back-end development\nEstablish a robust deployment topology to cater to critical non-functional requirements such as Zero down-time, blue-green deployments, graceful degradation of services in the event of catastrophic failures\nExperienced former practitioner with leadership ability.\nOversees the execution of functional standards and best practices\nProvide thought leadership on the craft, inspire and retain talents by developing and nurturing an extensive internal and external network of practitioners.\nThis role is around capability building, it is not to own applications or delivery\nCreates a strategy roadmap of technical work\nWorks to drive technology convergence and simplification across their chapter area\nKey Responsibilities\nBusiness\nDedicated management role, is tech native, can understand technology down to a detailed level if needed\nResponsible to evolve the craft towards improving automation, simplification and innovative use of latest market trends.\nScales the practices and capabilities across multiple hives i.e. mobile/front end experience across the app, driving consistency across skill domains, enabling scaling and consistency of skillsets and practices in partnership with the Hive Tech Leads\nProcesses\nAdopt and embed the Change Delivery Standards throughout the lifecycle of the product / service.\nEnsure role, job descriptions and expectations are clearly set and periodic feedback provided to the chapter leads\nEnsures the establishment of capability development systems across the chapter area, measuring and tracking the improvement of their chapter area members as well as chapter leads\nPeople & Talent\nAccountable for people management and capability development of their Chapter members.\nReviews metrics on capabilities and performance across all of the Chapters in their area, has improvement backlog for their Chapters and drives continual improvement of Chapters.\nRisk Management\nResponsible for effective capacity risk management across the Chapter Area with regards to attrition and leave plans.\nRegulatory & Governance\nEnsure all artefacts and assurance deliverables are as per the required standards and policies (e.g., SCB Governance Standards, ESDLC, Corporate Group Plan etc.).\nRegulatory & Business Conduct\nDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.\nTake personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
