The role supports invoice processing, vendor payments, employee expense reimbursements, account reconciliations, and financial controls while ensuring adherence to banking regulations, internal policies, audit requirements and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The role also supports quality improvement, issue resolution, and acts as a point of guidance for junior analysts.\nThe individual will play a critical role in optimizing payment operations, mitigating risk, enhancing controls, supporting transformation initiatives, and ensuring consistent delivery against Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)\nKey Responsibilities\nManage end-to-end R2P activities including invoice processing, validation, payment runs, reconciliations, Travel & Expense, and MIS professionally & efficiently\nEnsure daily work allocation (indexing, assessing, processing) is completed consistently and efficiently.\nReview incomplete or incorrect invoices before moving them to the rework queue.\nPrioritize urgent and critical invoices as per instructions from the Manager or Team Coordinator.\nEnsure all assigned volumes are completed as per agreed productivity and quality targets.\nMaintain 100% accuracy in invoice processing, journals, and rework movements.\nJournals to be processed with 100% accuracy based on inputs received.\nEnsure strong financial and operational controls are in place and operating effectively.\nMonitoring to ensure that the standards of customer service provided, is consistently meet or exceed the requirements set under the Service Level Agreements agreed with the customers\nSupport audit requirements and ensure compliance with internal policies and quality standards.\nReview processes regularly to identify opportunities for efficiency, quality, and automation improvements.\nSupervising the team, providing on-the-job and other process trainings\nSupport new process transitions, migrations, and stabilization initiatives.\nTo be responsive to the needs of the stakeholders at all times, ensuring clear and effective communication.\nCoordinate with other R2P team leads and Global Finance teams to ensure smooth operations.\nServe as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes.\nApply accounting knowledge across the end-to-end P2P lifecycle, including upstream and downstream dependencies.\nReview and manage the book of work for the assigned process stream.\nSkills and Experience\nMust-have Skills\nAdvanced Accounts Payables Knowledge (E2E)\nGood accounting knowledge\nGood understanding of Operations Risk & Controls\nMonth end reporting\nProcess Improvement Techniques\nGood understanding of Taxes\nOther Skills\nReconciliation\nSAP (VIM / S4 HANA / Ariba)\nTechnical Skills (MS Excel & PPT)\nMotivations\nStrategic & Analytical Thinking\nProblem Solving\nAttention to Detail\nStakeholder Management\nTime Management\nTeam Collaboration\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills\nContinuous Improvement Mindset\nQualifications\nKey Experiences\n3-5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Procure-to-Pay (P2P), or Requisition-to Pay (R2P) operations.\nExperience within Banking, Financial Services or Shared Services preferred.\nExposure to multinational and high-volume transaction environments is an advantage\nProven experience handling complex AP transactions, audits, controls, and stakeholder management.\nProven experience in managing end-to-end operational processes.\nStrong understanding of operational risk, controls, and regulatory requirements.\nExperience in process improvement, automation, and transformation initiatives.\nDemonstrated ability to engage with senior stakeholders and drive business outcomes\nCertifications / Qualifications\nAny Degree or master’s degree in commerce or business administration\nLanguages\nEnglish\nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
