This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.\nEffectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.\nOther Responsibilities\nTake responsibility of end-to-end delivery for the entire software development lifecycle, encompassing design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of a feature or application.\nKey responsibilities include creating robust code using best practices, translating business needs into technical requirements, integrating systems, performing quality assurance, and ensuring the solution is scalable, maintainable, and aligns with security standards.\nEnsure developed code has significant coverage by automated tests.\nAdhere to SCB development practices.\nManage application support handover to global teams.\nMaintain and enhance the code base after project go-live.\nProactively identify and mitigate potential risks and technical obstacles.\nParticipate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions.\nProvide technical support and resolve critical production issues.\nSkills and Experience\nMultithreading\nC++\nSTL\nBoost\nPython\nDatabase\nQualifications\nC++14/17 skills, knowledge of the STL, experience of the Boost libraries is highly desirable.\nExperience in one or more of the following is highly desirable: system, network, or low latency programming.\nEntry level python programming skill is good to have.\nDevelopment on Linux using gcc, gdb, git and associated debugging tools.\nKnowledge of all aspects of software design, development, and deployment.\nWorking knowledge of FX products, pricing, and real time risk management desirable.\nWorking knowledge of the design of scalable, high availability, supportable distributed architectures.\nWorking knowledge of messaging and communication protocols including TCP, UDP, multicast, and data encoding\nWorking understanding of SQL and simple DDL operations.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact with business representatives.\nAbout Standard Chartered\nWe're an international bank, nimble enough to act, big enough for impact.
