Additional responsibilities include involvement in development of Python related activities, automation, develop tools using TLM product.\nKey Responsibilities\nIncident Management: Restore services, troubleshoot system errors, and identify root cause\nConducting Post-Incident Reviews (PIRs) to document findings and prevent recurrence.\nDesign, develop, and maintain ETL workflows to load, transform and reconcile data for TLM.\nDevelop Python scripts and components for data processing, automation, and integration with TLM.\nWrite and optimize Oracle SQL (views, functions, procedures, packages) to support TLM interfaces and reporting.\nDevelop and maintain Unix shell scripts for job scheduling, file handling, and batch processing.\nParticipate in the end-to-end TLM implementation lifecycle: requirements analysis, solution design, development, unit testing, and deployment.\nWork closely with business, operations, and BA teams to understand reconciliation rules, matching logic, and exception handling.\nTroubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ETL jobs, data quality, and TLM processing.\nContribute to performance tuning across ETL processes, database queries, and scripts.\nPrepare and maintain technical design documents, data flow diagrams, and job run books.\nCreate and update test cases, perform unit/system integration testing, and support UAT.\nCollaborate with infrastructure/DevOps teams for deployment, monitoring, and job scheduling.\nEnsure adherence to bank standards, security, compliance, and audit requirements.\nKey Expertise\nTLM Product Knowledge\nHands-on experience with ETL development (Informatica(Preferable), DataStage, or similar enterprise ETL tools).\nPython programming (data processing, automation, scripting)\nOracle Database (SQL, PL/SQL, stored procedures, performance tuning)\nShell Scripting (Unix/Linux for automation, job orchestration)\nMastery of operating system internals, file systems, process management, and security.\nUnderstanding of OSI models, TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, and how to diagnose network-related failures\nExperience working with batch processing, file-based interfaces for structured (CSV, XML, SWIFT, etc.) and unstructured(PDF,text,etc.) formats.\nKnowledge in Machine Learning,AI Agents & Service Bench .\nUnderstanding of banking/financial operations and transaction flows (e.g., payments, securities, cash, Nostro, positions) is an advantage.\nExperience in SDLC and working in agile or hybrid delivery environments.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.\nGood communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams.\nFamiliarity with Azure DevOps for CI/CD pipeline,SonarCube.\nRegulatory & Business Conduct\nDisplay exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.\nTake personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank.
