Are you ready to make a difference?\nJob Summary\nThe PHS Billing Analyst plays a key role in ensuring accurate and timely premium billing for group insurance policies. This position processes and reconciles billing transactions, resolves discrepancies, and collaborates with internal and external partners to support billing operations. The role also contributes to process improvements, system enhancements, and the delivery of exceptional customer service.\nKey Responsibilities\nProcess and reconcile premium billing transactions, including adjustments, reversals, and delinquent accounts.\nPrepare, review, and audit group invoices to ensure accuracy and timely delivery.\nResearch and resolve billing discrepancies while partnering with internal teams and customers.\nServe as a billing subject matter expert and provide guidance on complex inquiries.\nSupport system enhancements, audits, reporting activities, and process improvement initiatives.\nSkills and Background You’ll Need\nEducation: High School Diploma or equivalent\nExperience: 2+ years of accounting or complex financial experience\n3+ years of customer service experience, preferably in a healthcare, insurance, or financial services environment.\nExperience with billing, premium processing, reconciliation, or related financial operations.\nIntermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.\nStrong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.\nFamiliarity with billing and administrative systems such as Group Access, GroupFacts, AdminEase, Lawson, Clarity, or OMAR.\nKey Behaviors of a Successful Candidate\nAdaptability: Sees possibilities in changing circumstances, accepts and understands change and alters \nDriving Success: Acts with urgency, pursues ambitious goals and shows resilience in the face of obstacles and setbacks. \nWinning Together: Actively engages colleagues to achieve shared outcomes by developing trust, inviting diverse perspectives and pushing to bring the best ideas forward.\nWhy Join The Standard?\nWe have built an enduring legacy of stability, financial strength and exceptional customer service through the contributions of the service-oriented people who choose to work at The Standard.
