Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nAs an Accountant, you’ll research and provide analysis on business unit or segment financials for the appropriate management group while providing financial guidance to other disciplines on the product line or segment as required to follow in accordance with proper company policies and procedures. In this position, you will report to the Assistant Controller.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOrganize, analyze, and maintain financial records and transactions to ensure accuracy; collect and maintain data from internal databases and other sources to support financial analysis.\nPrepare and analyze daily workpapers for accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, capital assets, and payroll.\nProvide guidance on general ledger coding for purchase orders, expenses, and other transactions.\nPrepare and manage journal entries and general ledger activities; reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy.\nAssist with the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts.\nMonitor budget adherence throughout the year and identify concerns related to expenditures and profitability.\nAssist with internal and external audits as needed; maintain internal control policies to safeguard company assets.\nEnsure compliance with federal, state, and other applicable regulatory standards.\nReview and code accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions; collaborate with other departments on financial matters and support continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes and improve efficiency and accuracy.\nCarry out special projects as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.\nCurrently enrolled in or completion of a recognized professional accounting certification program, such as CPA, CMA, or CFM, or equivalent professional accounting credential.\nDesired Skills\nWorking knowledge of generally accepted accounting practices.\nAdvanced proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software.\nIntroductory knowledge of Smartsheets and Power BI.\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing operations, finance and accounting principles, internal controls, purchasing, inventory and cost accounting.\nGood planning, organizational, analytical, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.\nBenefits that make life better:\nComprehensive Healthcare\n401(k) with 100% company match;
