Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nAs an Aerospace Engine Mechanic Trainee, you’ll participate in a comprehensive 14-week paid training program designed to provide the foundational knowledge, hands-on experience, and technical skills required to support turbine engine maintenance and repair operations. Upon successful completion of the program, you will be assigned to one of our engine programs in Winnipeg.\nWhat you’ll do:\nParticipate in a structured 14-week paid turbine engine mechanic training program\n\nLearn repair and overhaul processes for gas turbine engines\n\nInspect engine modules and engine components in accordance with technical standards\n\nFollow aviation safety practices, procedures, and regulatory requirements\n\nRead and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints\n\nComplete instructor-led classroom, lab, and practical on-engine training\n\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment\n\nUse hand tools and specialized equipment to support maintenance activities\n\nCollaborate with team members and instructors throughout the training program\n\nTransition into an assigned engine program upon successful completion of training\n\nBasic Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent required\n\nMinimum of 2 years of job-related training or experience preferred\n\nMinimum 2+ years of experience reading and interpreting applicable technical data, Blueprints and drawing is preferred.\n\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation\n\nAbility to stand for extended periods of time with or without reasonable accommodation\n\nDesired Skills\nPrevious mechanical, automotive, manufacturing, or aviation-related experience preferred\n\nStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills\n\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills\n\nAbility to learn quickly in a hands-on training environment\n\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to safety\n\nAbility to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment\n\nAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks\n\nBenefits that make life better:\nComprehensive Healthcare\n\nCompany pension plan with 100% company match;
