And with competitive compensation and total rewards, you'll also enjoy our great perks.\nAs an Aircraft Engine Quality Inspector (CFM56), you will perform in-process and final inspections of engines, propellers, components and parts to verify correct completion in compliance with the approved data and customer requirements.You will be responsible for the certification of products, on behalf of the company and for return to service.You'll cross train in other complementary skills as needed to support production requirements.\nWhat you'll do:\nVerifies the correct assembly at the in-process assembly stages as described in the applicable inspection plan.\n\nPerforms physical inspection of the assembled product prior to the functional tests performed to verify safe completion of the product.\n\nUses production control systems and generates reports for product documentation files.\n\nPerforms the final inspection of the completed product, includes both a physical and documentation review.\n\nConfirms the modification status, ensuring compliance to the current requirements.\n\nVerifies the completion of the work instructions identified on the task control number (TCN).\n\nVerifies the correct configuration and identification of the end product.\n\nReviews historical log records for completeness and accuracy.\n\nPrepares and completes all applicable release documentation following successful completion of the TCN instructions.\n\nValidates the certification on behalf of the company.\n\nCompletes and validates non-conformance tag/material review board (NCT/MRB) documentation.\n\nEnsures compliance to the applicable quality procedures affecting the production process in the cell.\n\nAssists in troubleshooting technical problems within the cell.\n\nParticipates in continuous improvement of cell processes.\n\nProvide on-the-job training (OJT) for Inspection trainees.\n\nCross train as needed to support production requirements.\n\nMoves between production assignments that utilize multiple skills as needed to support production requirements.\n\nParticipates in the cross training of other technicians as needed to support production requirements.\n\nResponsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.\n\nCarries out other duties as assigned.\n\nPosition Requirements:\nMust understand the detail inspection function.\n\nKnowledgeable in the configuration and assembly of the products processed in the cell.\n\nKnowledgeable in the assembly methods and techniques used.\n\nProficient in the use of precision measuring instruments.\n\nProficient in dimensional inspection techniques.\n\nDemonstrated knowledge of the applicable regulatory requirements relating to maintenance of aeronautical products.\n\nKnowledgeable on the documentation completion requirements.\n\nWorking knowledge of production management computer system and other related internal control systems.\n\nKnowledgeable in the quality requirements relating to the production process.\n\nAbility to complete the Quality Inspector Training & Development Plan.\n\nProficient in decision making to ensure compliance to all customer, regulatory and company requirements.\n\nProficient in communication skills.\n\nAbility to lift up to 25 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average work day.\n\nMust have the ability to work 1st, 2nd or weekend shift as required.\n\nMust be able to read, write and understand English.\n\nMust have a high school diploma, GED or equivalent\n\nMust be authorized to work in the US.\n\nPreferred Characteristics:\nCFM56 Engine experience or knowledge\n\nThe ability to travel when needed\n\nBenefits that make life better:\nComprehensive Healthcare\n\n401(k) with 100% company match;
