Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nAs an EHS Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.\nOver the course of your 10-12-week (or longer) internship, you will have the opportunity to:\nWork directly with Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) professionals to learn how safety culture is built, maintained, and continuously improved across our projects.\n\nGain experience in job site inspections, safety audits, environmental compliance checks, and employee safety training support, all while participating in professional development and networking activities.\n\nMentorship: Guidance from experienced EHS managers and safety coordinators\n\nCareer Insights: Learn about career paths in safety management, environmental compliance and industrial hygiene.\n\nWhat you’ll do:\n - Assist EHS staff in conducting safety inspections and job hazard analyses at active electrical construction sites.\n- Assist in compiling data for submitting annual reports to local, state, and federal regulatory agencies including the EPA, and OSHA.\n- Help ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, environmental requirements, and company safety policies.\n- Collect, track, and analyze safety data to identify trends and areas for improvement.\n- Support incident investigations, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.\n- Participate in the review and preparation of Job Safety Plans, Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs), and Safety Inspection Reports.\n- Assist in the development and delivery of employee safety training and toolbox talks.\n- Review and maintain environmental compliance records, such as hazardous material handling and waste disposal documentation.\n- Contribute to a Continued Improvement project aimed at improving safety or environmental processes, culminating in a presentation to company leaders.\n- Updating records in the Environmental Health & Safety database.\nBasic Qualifications:\n- Enrolled student attending a college or university during Spring 2027.\n- Ability to work full-time or part-time during Spring of 2027.\n- Must be local to the Phoenix area or able to relocate to area on their own.\n- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need of current or future sponsorship.\n- Able to work fully onsite at facility.\nDesired Skills:\n- Desired Majors: Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Health & Safety, or Environmental Science\n- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, or previous internships.\n- Exceptional organizational, collaboration, and communication skills as demonstrated through leadership positions on teams and/or in student or civic organizations.\n- ISO45001/ISO14001 experience preferred but not required.\n- Strong technical experiences as demonstrated through technical projects, research, or previous internships.\nBenefits that make life better:\n- Comprehensive Healthcare\n- 401(k) with 100% company match;
