Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nAs a Quality Engineer, your work will directly impact our operation by driving improvements in COPQ, product quality, and process efficiencies.\nWhat you’ll do:\nRecognizes and understands flight/product safety critical parts and processes.\nResponsible for immediately reporting flight/product safety concerns.\nParticipates in proactive risk analysis of flight/product safety critical parts and processes.\nDevelops and implements meaningful and lasting corrective/preventative actions alongside Operations Leaders and Production Engineers.\nProvides Engineering support to Operations and Productions teams to solve Quality-impacting non-conforming products or processes. \nMaintains a safe work environment through compliance with all established safety and environmental programs.\nAnalyze defect data and establish trend charts for review by management.\nWorks alongside Production Cells in Root-Cause and Corrective Action analysis for damaged parts, warranty reviews, and other process non-conformances.\nConducts studies to stabilize or improve process capabilities and efficiencies. \nPerforms special process and critical product audits to ensure conformance to all internal and external requirements. Audits new processes to evaluate precision and accuracy of production, testing, & measurement equipment. \nAnalyzes and summarizes compiled data from test and inspection reports. Generates statistical reports identifying quality concerns for submission to various levels of management for review and corrective action. \nApplies quality methodology and solves quality problems with engineering staff. \nMonitors assigned projects for work in progress to ensure that quality and regulatory standards are met and that project designs are effective through the entire process; approves changes to designs or schedules as necessary. \nProvides, on an as required basis, technical advice with respect to quality system criteria, airworthiness and regulatory requirements.\nCarries out special projects as assigned. \nBasic qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, or other related Engineering field, with 3 plus years of Quality Engineering experience. \n2 -3 years of experience in using quality analytical tools and problem-solving methodology.\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S.\nDesired Skills:\nExperience in Quality Management Systems in the MRO/aerospace industry. \nThorough knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards related to maintenance and certification for products processed by the organization.\nThorough knowledge of gas turbine engine theory and performance.\nThorough knowledge and understanding of NADCAP, AS9100, AS9110, and/or ISO9001.\nThorough knowledge of First Article Inspections/AS9102.\nEffective communicator in both verbal and technical writing.\nAbility to read, understand, and interpret blueprints or technical figures.\nWorking knowledge of production management computer systems.\nStrategic planner with strong time management and leadership ability.\nEffective communicator in both verbal and technical writing.\nThorough knowledge of quality analytical tools and problem-solving methodology.\nAble to problem solve, process information quickly, challenge current processes and take initiatives towards improvement.\nWorks well in a collaborative team-based environment.\nBenefits that make life better:\nComprehensive Healthcare\n401(k) with 100% company match;
