Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nAs a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for the technical knowledge of new and existing products in engineering associated with the manufacturing process.\nWhat You Will Do\nDevelop, review, and maintain technical data and documentation in compliance with applicable 14 CFR regulations, including Parts 21, 33, 43, 91, 121, and 145.\nServe as the technical liaison for customers, addressing technical and contractual requirements, resolving concerns, and communicating solutions.\nReview customer requirements and develop engine work scopes, troubleshooting plans, and process direction to support airworthiness and contractual compliance.\nProvide day-to-day technical support to production, coordinating with Engineering and Operations on repairs, processes, and new product introductions.\nEnsure proper engine configuration and compliance with applicable Service Bulletins, Airworthiness Directives, and other regulatory requirements.\nPrepare engine condition reports and support estimating, invoicing, First Article Inspections, and Material Review Board activities, including evaluation of nonconforming material and repair options.\nGenerate and maintain Shop Orders, Work Instructions, Temporary Overhaul Data Revisions, and other technical documents used to guide shop operations.\nSupport corrective action investigations and continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, turnaround time, cost, and environmental performance.\nIdentify and proactively assess flight/product safety risks, recognize safety-critical parts and processes, and immediately report safety concerns in accordance with Just Culture principles.\nProvide technical expertise and support for special projects and other duties as assigned.\nMinimum Qualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering from an ABET accredited university, or a minimum of 5 years of experience in aviation MRO operations \nMust be authorized to work in the US.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nHas a good understanding 14 CFR 21, 33, 43, 91, 121 and 145.\n5 year experience in MRO Engineering support and directly supporting 14 CFR 145 operations\nExecuting Power Plant Maintenance program requirements as related to 14 CFR 121\nPrior experience with RB211-535, LEAP 1A/1B, other CFM or Rolls Royce products\nPrior experience in the commercial aviation, or airline industry \nStrong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.\nStrong project management skills.\nThorough knowledge of aerospace materials and processes.\nIn jurisdictions governed by a regulatory body or with an association that is governed by local legal requirements, registration is required.\nExperience in an aerospace or manufacturing process engineering environment.\nBenefits That Make Life Better\nComprehensive Healthcare\n\n401(k) with 100% company match up to 5%\n\nPaid Time Off starting day one\n\nBonus opportunities\n\nHealth & Dependent Care FSAs\n\nShort- & Long-Term Disability\n\nLife & AD&D Insurance\n\nLearning & Training opportunities\n\nRaising the Standard of Excellence Since 1911\nWith more than a century of proven excellence, StandardAero is a global leader in aerospace MRO services and customized solutions.
