StandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join our Engineering team now.\nAs a Metallurgical Engineering Intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.Over the course of your internship, you will have the opportunity to: Determine and document the modification status/configuration of products being processed for repair or overhaul to verify compliance to the applicable regulatory and process requirements.\nThis is a 10-12-week, paid internship on a part-time basis working onsite at the Dallas-Fort Worth location.\nWhat you’ll do:\nAssist our team with metallurgical lab analysis of samples for plasma application process.\nConduct chemical analysis sampling in support of our Clean Shop chemical tanks.\nComplete assigned projects related to the Engineering group/discipline\nMay perform engineering calculations, analyses, development of drawings and specifications, and on-site client\nsupport\nPosition Requirements:\nSeeking students for internship who are pursuing their Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemistry, Metallurgy or related laboratory field of study.\nStrong attention to detail, with interest in process improvement\nAbility to work independently multi-tasking and prioritizing responsibilities in order to meet deadlines\nInternship is located in Dallas, TX; *students must be local to Dallas/Fort Worth, TX and available to work 1-2 days per week immediately\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nPreferred Characteristics:\nMicrosoft Office a plus\nInterpersonal Skills\nProblem Solving Skills\nTime Management Skills\nWilling to work part-time 2-3 days per week at Dallas-Fort Worth job site;
