Our stability, resources, and respectful culture supports you in building a solid career with a great team you can count on day in and day out for the long term.\nStandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Teams for the 2026 term.\nAs an Engineering intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.\nOver the course of your 10-12-week (or longer) internship, you will have the opportunity to:\nPartner with existing production engineering teams to support the Maintenance Repair and Overhaul (MRO) operations in Dallas, TX\nStudents will work with experience engineers on project types that include Repair Industrialization, Tools and Fixture Design and Manufacture, and Process Improvement\nJoin our team today and build an aviation career you’re proud of!\nWhat you’ll do:\nStudents will be involved in developing, implementing repairs with the DFW Engine Repair Center which will include the following:\nDevelop and implement repairs for engine components in accordance with approved technical data.\nCollaborates with cross-functional teams consisting of technicians, engineers, customer service representatives, and specialists to complete initiatives on-time. \nCoordinates process improvement initiates using lean methodologies. \n Works with configuration control specialists to support creation and modification of routings for repairs.\nReviews Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) technical documents and other engineering data to understand requirements and procures and/or develops equipment to enable repair capability and capabilities.\nCreates new engineering data and instructions for processes as required.\nObserves all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.\nCarries out special projects as assigned.\nPosition Requirements:\nCompleted engineering courses at the Sophomore level.\nKnowledge of MS Office products, to include Excel, Project, and Word.\nProficiency in CAD and drafting such as but not limited to Inventor, Fusion360, other Autodesk Products, or SolidWorks.\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. \n Internship Details:\nThe internship term will be (depending on candidate availability - Summer/Fall/Winter\nThe length of the internship is 10-12 weeks (or longer)\nAbility to work full-time or part-time during Summer and at least part time during Fall/Winter.\nInternship is located in Dallas, TX;
