With great resources, an inclusive atmosphere, and a culture based on shared values, we’ll support you in building a solid career with a team you can count on.\nStandardAero is seeking motivated, eager, and innovative students looking to join one of our Engineering Team for the summer 2027 term.\nAs an intern at StandardAero, you will gain hands-on industry experience, learn from experts, and collaborate with our teams that raise the standard of excellence.\nJoin our team today and build an aviation career you’re proud of!\nJob Duties:\nStudents may be involved in one or many of the following:\nResearch the viability of a new program or initiative; compile and present statistics.\nClean up, edit and update a database.\nConduct a failure analysis and investigation.\nEvaluate and improve efficiency, streamline programs, or cut costs. \nPerform a study or survey; analyze and present results. \nCompile employee manuals or develop process directions for tasks. \nConduct a cost benefit analysis to upgrade on a specific material/machine.\nDesign tooling or ground support equipment.\nWork on a continuous improvement project resulting in a measurable improvement.\nCarries out other duties as assigned\nBasic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):\nCompletion of two years of education in engineering related curriculum\nThe ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.\nThe ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.\nThe ability to sit for extended periods of time.\nMust be a U.S. Citizen\nDesired Skills:\nProject Management Experience with CAD and simulation software\nFamiliarity with Lean Manufacturing and 5S Principles \nLean Green Belt Certification preferred\nProject Experience in manufacturing setting preferred\nThe ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints.\nWhat makes a good fit for StandardAero\nWe love people who take pride in their work and being collaborative with their team.
