StandardAero is hiring a curious, analytical, and technology-minded HR AI & Process Innovation Intern to help explore how artificial intelligence can be used to improve HR processes, employee experiences, and the way our HR team works.\nThis role will work across HR functions to identify opportunities where AI can simplify work, improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and create better access to information. The intern will help research, test, document, and support practical AI use cases within HR. An important part of the role will be partnering with IT to understand available and approved technologies and ensure that AI solutions are explored and implemented with appropriate consideration for data privacy, information security, and the protection of confidential company and employee information.\nWhat You'll Do:\nReview existing HR processes to identify opportunities where AI could improve efficiency, quality, consistency, or employee experience.\nResearch emerging AI capabilities and practical applications within areas such as HR operations, recruiting, compensation, benefits, payroll, compliance, learning, and employee support.\nHelp develop and test AI-enabled solutions for common HR activities, such as:Drafting and summarizing HR communications and documentation.\nCreating first drafts of policies, procedures, job descriptions, and employee materials.\nSummarizing large amounts of HR information or data.\nImproving employee and manager self-service.\nSupporting HR knowledge management and search.\nAutomating repetitive or manual HR tasks.\nIdentifying trends, themes, or insights from HR data and feedback.\n\nMap current processes and compare them to potential AI-enabled future-state processes.\nBuild and test prompts, workflows, templates, and other tools that can be reused by the HR team.\nHelp establish guidance and best practices for responsible use of AI within HR.\nConsider privacy, confidentiality, accuracy, bias, and human oversight when evaluating potential AI solutions.\nDocument use cases, pilot results, lessons learned and recommended next steps.\nPartner with HR, HR technology, IT, Legal, Privacy, and other stakeholders as appropriate.\nHelp educate the HR team on practical ways to use AI in their day-to-day work.\nPosition Requirements:\nMust be authorized to work in the US\nHigh School Diploma or GED required\nCurrently pursuing Bachelor's degree coursework in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business, Business Analytics, Data Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.\nHands-on experience using AI tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Gemini, Claude, or similar applications\nKnowledge in the responsible and secure use of AI, particularly when working with confidential employee and company information.\nPreferred Characteristics:\nA strong interest in artificial intelligence and emerging technologies.Curiosity and a willingness to learn, experiment, and explore new technologies.\n\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nThe ability to understand business processes and identify opportunities for improvement.Strong communication and collaboration skills.\n\nThe ability to work effectively with both HR and technology-focused teams.\nStrong attention to detail and an ability to thoughtfully evaluate new technologies and their potential applications.\nExposure to data analysis, automation, workflow tools, HR systems, or technology projects is a plus.\nAn interest in how technology can improve the employee and manager
