StandardAero provides comprehensive services to commercial, military, business aviation, helicopters and industrial operators. The company has almost 7,000 employees working out of facilities strategically located in the U.S., Canada and internationally and serving customers from over 80 different countries. This position supports the DFW facility, regional turbine centers and US field service team.\nWhat you'll do:\nMember of the DFW Human Resources team, reporting to the Director of Human Resources.\nHR Business Partner to assigned client group, including up to 750 non-union employees, managers and other leaders located in DFW and remotely throughout the U.S.\nCollaborates with all levels of staff and management in a fast-paced environment and contributes to the Human Resources team for StandardAero enterprise.\nFor client group, takes appropriate action to address and resolve employee relations issues and manage typical HR Generalist activities to include staffing, performance management, compliance, compensation planning, learning and development, reward/recognition and answering employee payroll and benefits questions. \nLeads investigations for employee related issues and/or concerns.\nConfidentially guides staff and manager through a process of developing answers, solutions, and/or strategies to deal fairly, legally and effectively with people-related matters. \nStrives to ensure that there is strong communication of all employee programs in an effort to increase employee engagement and morale.\nProvides advice, counsel and support to client group to ensure the consistent and equitable application of organization policies and procedures. \nGuides leaders and employees through the performance management, disciplinary and termination processes.\nConducts new hire orientation and other on-boarding activities.\nAdministers Department of Transportation (DOT) Drug and Alcohol Program.\nWhere required, develops and conducts training as it relates to staffing and employee relations. \nDevelops and maintains community/academic relationships to increase exposure/awareness of the StandardAero brand.\nCarries out other duties as assigned.\nWhat Skills You Will Use:\n3 to 5 years of experience in Human Resources.\nStrong interpersonal skills to build relationships and positively influence others.\nStrong integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and manage highly sensitive information.\nProfessionalism and diplomacy with all levels of the organization.\nPresentation skills and comfort in front of larger groups.\nAdvanced planning/organizational skills.\nSound reasoning, analysis, conflict resolution and decision-making skills.\nDemonstrated ability to apply creativity toward problem solving and process improvement.\nProficient communication skills, both oral and written.\nExperience dealing with non-union employee relations matters; preference for candidates who demonstrate experience with maintaining positive employee relations.\nExperience with compensation analysis, benefits and payroll, leadership coaching and change management.\nThorough knowledge of employment laws and regulatory environments.\nSkilled in Microsoft office products - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.\nMust be authorized to work in the United States.\nPreferred Characteristics:\nBachelor's degree in a field related to Human Resources highly desirable.\nPHR or SPHR certifications desirable.\nDemonstrated success in staffing (recruitment);
