We are looking for a driven individual to work within our Supply Chain team across our various business units.\nThis opportunity will allow a student to develop and showcase their skills in project management, process and value stream mapping(VSM), problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills.\nWhat you’ll do:\nOver the course of your 10-12 week internship, you will have the opportunity to: \nWork with the Manager, Supply Chain Business Unit\nHands on work detailing and documenting the various functions of the supply chain\nAnalysis of the transaction processing performed, and data entry requirements\nAnalysis of process differences between business units\nRecommend process improvements and countermeasures, short term and long term (future state)\nBasic Qualifications:\nBetween 2nd and 4th year student\nMS Suite proficient\nGood team player and communication skills\nExperience working in supply chain/warehousing \nAble to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, crouch, crawl and/or climb for prolonged periods\nDesired Skills:\nStrong planning, organizational, analytical, negotiation, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills\nKnowledge of access, excel, outlook\nAttention to details\nExperience working in a team environment, process improvement methodology/six sigma and process mapping\nThorough knowledge of inventory control systems, purchasing and production management\n1+ years of experience in an inventory or manufacturing environment\nRaising the Standard of Excellence since 1911\nWith over a century of proven excellence, StandardAero has become an industry leader in MRO services and customized solutions in the aerospace field.
