Control various production factors to ensure balanced and leveled loads; appropriate utilization of available capacity (labor, tools and equipment); and bottleneck management, allowing for a controlled flow of approved materiel to meet delivery requirements.\nWhat you’ll do:\nReview current WIP for various cell to provide daily schedule for OPS leaders. \nReview daily production schedule to properly move and stage parts for workflow efficiency for operations team. \nStage parts\nEnsure orders have the proper materials required.\nReview various reports on the progress of work, material delivery dates, rates of production and other production information, using manual or computerized systems.\nMonitors the movement of parts, supplies and material within and between cells/business units to ensure that supplies, materials and products are shipped and received on schedule.\nWill work with other departments: production, quality, and management to ensure a smooth flow of production.\nAdvise the OPS leaders of the status of work in progress, material availability and interruptions in the schedule to ensure that personnel, equipment, material and services are provided as needed.\nIdentifies and initiates improvements to production process flows.\nResponsible for observing all applicable safety requirements and reporting immediately any unsafe practices/conditions.\nCarry out special projects as assigned.\nBasic Qualifications:\n1+ years of experience in planning and/or scheduling\nAbility to lift up to 35 pounds (unassisted) for approximately 25% of the average workday.\nPrevious operations planning and/or scheduling experience in a manufacturing environment. \nGood planning, organizational, analytical, decision making, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. \nThorough knowledge of production management computer systems. \nPrevious experience with ERP databases and proficiency with computer navigation. \nDesired Skills\nBenefits that make life better:\nComprehensive Healthcare\n401(k) with 100% company match;
