You play a critical role in maintaining aviation safety and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements during the design and modification of aircraft.\nWhat You'll do:\nInterface and communication with StandardAero ODA members, vendors, and customers as necessary.\nDevelop, edit and contribute to supporting documents relating to certification activities.\nAttend project meetings and assume responsibility for assigned action items.\nDevelop and execute certification plans to support modification projects.\nDevelop and maintain the MDL for STC projects.\nManage project certification compliance.\nConduct and coordinate design and program review meetings.\nMentor on certification requirements, processes and procedures.\nOverall STC Project Management\nAssist others within the department as required.\nPosition Requirements:\nA minimum of 5+ years of experience working in an engineering or certification role.\nBachelor’s degree in a technical aviation discipline or equivalent directly related work experience.\nExperience working with 14 CFR Parts 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29.\nBe able to work either alone or as a team to solve problems.\nMust be able to work off schedule hours & weekends as required.\nPossess excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.\nStrong organization and planning skills. \nMust be able to look ahead, anticipate problems and proactively address issues. \nMust be able to handle multiple projects and multiple deadlines.\nTravel up to 25%\nMust be authorized to work in the United States\nPreferred Requirements:\nFAA delegation (i.e. DER/DAR)\nSalary: $90,720 - 136,080 based on experience\nThe compensation package for this position also includes a performance-based cash and equity incentives.
