This work may cover support in the following areas:\nWhat You'll do:\nDevelop repairs for engine components.\nReprocess cost evaluation and recommendations for reduction\nDevelop repair on non-conforming parts\nPerform technical manual reviews\nReview tooling requirements and implement into shop\nWrite technical reports and procedures.\nCoordinate process improvement initiatives.\nCreate electronic manual revisions.\nPerform engine performance analysis.\nFind alternative cleaning, plating, thermal spraying and coatings methods\nAssist in engine and accessories troubleshooting\nAssist in planning and implementing facility improvements, maintenance projects, and energy efficiency initiatives to support safe and efficient operations.\nOther projects as assigned\nWhat Skills You'll need (required experience/availability):\nMust have completed 1st Year of Engineering studies\nStrong planning, organizational, analytical, leadership, interpersonal, decision making, oral and written communication skills.\nStrong project management skills.\nGood understanding of basic mechanical engineering principles\nWorking knowledge computers and MS Office experience/knowledge.\nMust be available to work for the full winter term (4-8 months starting Late January or February).\nInclusivity Is Our Standard\nStandardAero offers equal employment opportunities for all.
