engineers, and contribute to projects supporting aviation maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.\nDuring your 10-12 week internship, you’ll support our Production Engineering team through projects involving repair development, tooling and fixture design, and process improvement.\nWhat You’ll Do\nSupport Production Engineering projects within MRO operations.\nAssist with the development, evaluation, and implementation of repair methods and manufacturing processes.\nCreate and revise engineering drawings, technical documentation, and work instructions.\nAssist with tooling, fixture, and test equipment design and development.\nAnalyze production and technical issues and help identify corrective actions and process improvements.\nSupport risk assessments, including Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA), for applicable processes and components.\nReview engineering drawings, technical manuals, and applicable technical data to support repair and production activities.\nAssist with testing, troubleshooting, measurement, and technical data analysis as assigned.\nCollaborate with engineering, operations, and other teams to complete projects within established timelines.\nFollow applicable safety, quality, regulatory, and company requirements, and promptly report safety concerns or unsafe conditions.\nPosition Requirements\nAbility to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications.\nFamiliarity with manufacturing processes, shop equipment, or machining through coursework, projects, laboratory work, or employment.\nFamiliarity with precision measuring instruments through coursework, laboratory work, projects, or employment.\nAbility to apply analytical and problem-solving skills to engineering or technical assignments.\nFamiliarity with project planning, data analysis, or process improvement through academic or work experience.\nAbility to communicate technical information clearly, both verbally and in writing, and collaborate effectively with a team.\nAbility to learn and follow technical documentation, engineering procedures, and applicable safety and regulatory requirements.\nExperience with CAD software, manufacturing systems, FMEA, or aerospace-related projects is an asset.\nMust be legally authorized to work in the United States.\nEducation Requirements\nCurrently enrolled in a post-secondary engineering program in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or a related discipline.\nAt StandardAero, We Offer\nA clean, safe,
