You will work with experienced training professionals and Subject Matter Experts to learn how technical information is turned into effective training.\nThis is a part time internship in Winnipeg, MB starting in early 2027.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAs a Technical Training Intern, you will gain hands-on experience supporting the development of technical training materials and learning solutions. You will work with experienced training professionals and Subject Matter Experts to learn how technical information is turned into effective training.\nAssist with developing, revising, and maintaining technical training materials, including presentations, learner materials, exercises, assessments, job aids, and other courseware.\nWork with Subject Matter Experts to gather and organize technical information and help turn complex information into clear, easy-to-understand training materials.\nAssist with creating engaging learning activities, knowledge checks, assessments, graphics, and other training content.\nLearn and apply basic instructional design and adult learning principles.\nAssist with developing and updating e-learning and instructor-led training materials using tools such as PowerPoint and Articulate Storyline/Rise.\nHelp review training materials for accuracy, consistency, and quality.\nIncorporate feedback from trainers, instructional designers, and Subject Matter Experts.\nSupport ongoing efforts to improve training materials and the learner experience.\nTake on additional responsibilities as knowledge and experience are gained.\nWhat You’ll Bring\nCurrently pursuing education in Instructional Design, Education, Learning & Development, Organizational Development, or a related field.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nGood organizational and attention-to-detail skills.\nBasic proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint.\nWillingness to learn new tools, processes, and instructional design techniques.\nAbility to work well with others and accept feedback.\nPreferred Characteristics\nInterest in instructional design, technical training, or adult learning.\nExperience creating presentations, projects, or other educational materials through school or other activities.\nInterest in learning e-learning development tools such as Articulate Storyline and
