Reporting to the Team Leader, this role is based in Bedworth. \nRole Summary\nYou’ll work closely and collaborate with the team being responsible for all areas of the tile manufacturing process and ensuring that our products are made to the highest quality standards.\nYou’ll directly contribute to and support the overall performance of the Plant by playing a vital role in achieving the daily production volume targets.\nThis role will suit someone who enjoys working in a team within a fast paced/busy working environment.\nAs a Production Operator, your key responsibilities will be:\nAdhering to Health and safety policies and procedures at all times.\n\nOperating and maintaining Production line machinery, equipment and mobile plant.\n\nMaintaining a high standard of housekeeping and cleanliness by taking full ownership of your working area.\n\nRegular quality control monitoring and recording through both visual and physical inspection of products.\n\nIdentification and safe resolution of Breakdowns and quality issues in partnership with the Maintenance team.\n\nProactively report safety and quality issues as soon as they are discovered.\n\nYour key skills and experience will include:\nKnowledge and experience of working on a production line\n\nBasic Maths and English skills\n\nBasic writing skills\n\nGood standard of verbal communication\n\nA dependable team player\n\nAbility to maintain high standards of quality and safety.\n\nIf you do not have all key skills but still feel like you would be a good fit, please still apply and we will consider your application based on merit and experience.\nBenefits\nWe offer a range of benefits that include:\nA competitive base salary and shift premium\n\nCompany matched pension contributions between 4% and 8%\n\nIncome protection and life insurance\n\nEAP program\n\nA host of other benefits such as a cycle to work scheme.\n\nAbout BMI\nBMI is a new name backed-up with over 180 years of roofing experience and knowledge.
