Experience with APQP and PPAP process (Process Flow, PFMEA & Control Plan)\nWith input from Engineering, plan and conduct analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration to assure the quality of the assigned product or component. Develop Incoming Inspection requirements\nPerform quality engineering reviews of design documentation for compliance with stated requirements, assist with maintaining customer-specific requirements, Supplier quality manuals, and company quality records.\nApply statistical process control (SPC) methods and other Quality tools for analyzing data to evaluate the current process and process changes.\nDevelop new approaches to solve problems identified during quality assurance activities. \nDevelop procedures and work instructions as needed\nCommunicate significant issues or developments identified during quality assurance activities and provide recommended process improvements to management.\nPrepare reports to communicate involvement and results of quality assurance activities and present technical and program information to team members and management.\nMaintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. \nManage multiple demands (Internal and External) while demonstrating good attention to detail, schedules and deliverables\nDirect or inform technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities.\nParticipate in contract review process to ensure customer flow downs are communicated and understood\n\nCustomer Communication and Feedback\nManage customer complaints and returns; Manage the company's non-conformance databases.\nLead problem-solving activities utilizing industry standard methodologies: 8D’s, 5 whys, 3x5, Ishikawa fishbone diagrams.\nWork with Sales and Supply Chain staff on customer returns and vendor issues\n\nInternal and Customer Returns\nPerform initial analysis and testing on customer returns/suspect parts and disposition accordingly. Work with Production, Manufacturing, and Engineering personnel on RCCA\nParticipate in Production and Vendor MRB activities\n\nAuditing\nConduct Process audits and participate in the Layered Process Audit program. \nPlan and conduct AS9100 Internal Audits as part of the audit team.\n\nWhat You'll Bring \nThis position requires access to ITAR/EAR-controlled technical data and CMMC compliance; therefore, only U.S. Persons(U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, green card holder) can be considered\nRequires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or another technical field\nTwo years’ minimum experience in a manufacturing environment as a Quality Engineer. Hands-on experience applying quality principles.
