The role requires a strong combination of interpersonal skills, product knowledge, and sales techniques to effectively communicate the value proposition of the company's products and services to potential customers.\nThis position reports to the Customer Success Manager.\n**This position works on-site full-time at our Hayesville, Ohio location.\nWhat You’ll Do \nEmbody and champion Standex International’s core values of integrity, accountability, empathy, collaboration, and innovation through daily interactions and decision-making.\nPrioritize safety practices and precautions for yourself and others, adhering to company and industry regulations and protocols\nReinforce company objectives, initiatives, and values through daily decision-making, shareholder interactions, and continuous improvement activities\nAlign decisions, actions, behaviors, and priorities with company objectives, initiatives, and values\nUtilize company performance management and learning resources to take ownership of performance, development, and competencies\nAnswer and accurately action inbound customer calls, partnering with internal and external stakeholders\nPrimary point of contact for customers\nEnter, amend, and maintain accurate purchase orders\nPrepare and send quotes to customers and potential customers\nEnter & maintain customer records\nGenerate daily outbound shipments\nTrack shipment status of customer orders\nCreate export shipment documentation\nProvide field sales support\nAssist with monthly sales projections\nIssue credit memos, send order acknowledgements\nCommunicate pertinent operational and customer information to stakeholders, to promote timely and consistent knowledge and execution across the operation\nThe scope of the job may change as necessitated by business demands.\nThis position involves occasional exposure to a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment and requires following basic safety precautions.
