Standex EDGE – Advanced magnetics and power conversion solutions, including transformers, inductors, and planar technologies, that ensure clean and efficient power is delivered in defense, aviation, medical, space and industrial applications. \n\nThe Manufacturing Operations Manager is a technical leader with strong operations experience who will oversee the Ohio site, ensuring effective and efficient use of facilities and staff. \n\nWhat You'll Do \nEstablish and monitor manufacturing processes, ensuring product quality and financial goals are achieved. \nOversee and participate in the recruitment, hiring, and training of manufacturing staff. \nWork to reduce and eliminate barriers and obstacles to improve overall cost and scheduling performance, with a strong emphasis on both top-line growth and bottom-line execution. \nDemonstrate commitment to teamwork by establishing effective relationships and networks with both managers/directors and direct labor, collaborating with them to accomplish shared purposes and goals. \nPromote a positive working environment with emphasis on safety, quality, delivery, cost, and employee engagement. \nContinue the lean journey by implementing the established transformational plans and holding themselves and the team to a disciplined rigor of sustainment. \nBe a change agent while balancing historical knowledge, understanding how and when to push the organization \nEstablish objectives and actions to achieve company goals and objectives. \nEstimate risks and apply risk mitigation techniques. \nSelect, develop, and evaluate employees to ensure the efficient operation of the plant. \nSupport new product introduction, drive throughput and efficiency improvements, and materials cost reductions. \n\nWhat You’ll Bring \nBachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or mechanical engineering (or similar) \nExperience with managing a P&L in a high growth segment \n8-10 years’ experience in the manufacturing Industry, having very good exposure in Lean Management, Documentation, and Kaizen activities. \n3 years of manager experience in a High Mix Low Volume Manufacturing setup or high-speed manufacturing. \n3 years of experience in new product launches and/or phased gate processes \n\nWhat We Value \nStrong background in Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen Philosophy.
