This position supports production, engineering, and quality by performing dimensional inspections, calibrating and maintaining measurement equipment, conducting measurement system analyses, and providing technical expertise in metrology. \nDaily Responsibilities\nTrain inspection personnel on performing dimensional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, first articles, and finished products using precision measuring equipment\nProgram, train, operate, and maintain Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and other automated inspection equipment, as applicable\nInterpret engineering drawings, blueprints, GD&T, and customer specifications to determine inspection requirements\nDevelop and maintain inspection programs, measurement methods, and inspection documentation\nPerform Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including Gauge Repeatability and Reproducibility (Gauge R&R) studies\nConduct First Article Inspections (FAI) in accordance with AS9102 or customer-specific requirements\nSupport Production and Engineering by troubleshooting dimensional issues and recommending solutions to measurement\nVerify manufacturing processes remain capable of producing parts within specification through statistical analysis and process monitoring\nAssist Quality Engineers and Technicians with root cause investigations, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives\nMaintain accurate inspection reports, calibration records, nonconformance documentation, and quality records within ERP/MRP and quality management systems\nEnsure compliance with customer specifications, internal procedures, and quality management system requirements including ISO 14001 and AS9100\nLead design and implementation efforts for inspection fixtures\nParticipate in internal, customer, and third-party quality audits as required\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while adhering to all safety and quality procedures\nAttending meetings and trainings as assigned\nComplete projects as assigned\nTeam Responsibilities\nProvide necessary support to both facilities\nWork in tandem with Manufacturing team \nHave a daily presence on the manufacturing floor \nParticipate in audits at both facilities as requested\nWhat You'll Bring\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required\nAssociate degree in Engineering Technology, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field required\n3+ years of metrology, inspection, or quality experience in a precision metal fabrication or manufacturing environment\nExperience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) preferred\nExperience working with CNC-machined, fabricated, welded, or sheet metal components preferred\nExperience working with Epicor preferred\nBasic knowledge in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and willingness to learn other software\nReliable transportation \nStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skills\nHigh level of confidentiality and professionalism when interacting with clients & vendors \nExceptional written and verbal communication skills\nAbility to build and maintain strong working
