This role requires precision, technical knowledge, and a strong commitment to safety and quality standards.\nSchedule: 7:00AM-3:30PM\nTechnical Job \nOperate fabricating machines, such as shears, brakes, presses, forming rolls, expander and routers, to cut, bend, block and form, or straighten materials\nRead work order, blueprints, and specifications to determine operation requirements \nShape metal material over anvil, block, or other form, using hand tools. Trims, files, grinds, deburrs, buffs, and smooths surfaces using hand tools and portable power tools\nUtilize bolts, rivets, screws, clips, bonds component parts to assemble products using hand tools, power tools, and equipment\nInstall assemblies per blueprint using hand tools, power tools, and lifting and handling devices\nInspect assemblies and installation for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments, such as calipers, scales, dial indicators, gauges, and micrometers\nPerform daily/weekly operator maintenance on machine equipment/tools (oil, clean, and inspection\nAccurately execute Company Process Control (PC) instructions and provide feedback when revisions are needed\nDocument actions by completing production and quality logs as needed\nAccomplish organization goals by actively exploring opportunities to improve Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost. (SQDC)\nTrain others by openly sharing information, knowledge, and expertise with the team\nComplete job assignments as directed by Manufacturing Manager \nAttend meetings, trainings, and participate in audits as directed\nSafety\nMaintain safe operations by adhering to safety procedures and regulations\nComply with all company rules including company safety policy and all federal, state, local, and other safety regulations and practices\nUse personal protective equipment and devices provided for machinery, equipment, tools and processes, when defined in PCS, Company Safety Policy, Job Safety Analysis or Management direction\nReport all unsafe conditions, accidents and injuries immediately to management\nHousekeeping\nActively participate in 6S and lean activities as outlined by the Company \nMaintain equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following Company instructions\nMaintain continuity among work shifts by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs\nStore and maintain tools, equipment and gauges as defined by company standards \nKeep work area clean and organized to company standards/expectations\nDaily cleaning and sweeping of work area, tools and equipment\nEmpty trash and waste as needed \nPersonal items removed from workstations\nWhat You'll Do\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) \nMinimum 1 year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience \nForklift experience is preferred \nReliable transportation \nStrong interpersonal and problem-solving skills\nAbility to effectively manage time, multi-task, and pay close attention to details\nSelf-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team\nCapable of following directions\nTake responsibility for achieving production efficiency, quality of product and reports discrepant material immediately \nDemonstrate customer focus by seeking out, understanding, and responding to the needs of both internal and external customers \nMaintain a positive attitude and communicate openly and honestly with others\nSolve problems proactively and
