Learn more at www.stanley1913.com.\nPosition Overview\nThe Manager, Amazon Operations leads the operational performance, governance, and execution of the Amazon business. This role partners closely with the Amazon Account Management team and owns Vendor Central operations, inventory risk, compliance, chargeback reduction, and operational readiness.\nThe role leads a team responsible for day-to-day order management, issue resolution, and Vendor Central administration while partnering cross-functionally with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Finance, Marketing, and Customer Experience to drive reliable execution and continuous improvement.\nThis position is onsite 3 days per week at our Seattle office or remote in Denver, CO area only.\nWhat You’ll Do\nAmazon Operations & Performance\nOwn Amazon operational performance, KPIs, scorecards, and service levels.\nMonitor and improve fill rate, order health, compliance, and operational defects.\nIdentify risks, lead root-cause analysis, and drive corrective actions.\nDevelop reporting and performance reviews to provide visibility into business health and opportunities.\nVendor Central & Operational Governance\nLead governance and administration of Amazon Vendor Central processes and workflows.\nOversee purchase orders, compliance requirements, chargebacks, and operational performance.\nEstablish operational standards and drive continuous improvement across Amazon processes.\nMaintain catalog accuracy, including product setup, item status changes, variations, suppressions, and other product updates.\nPartner with Supply Chain on product transitions and conversion items to ensure internal and Vendor Central catalog accuracy.\nFacilitate governance and project management for new and existing operational programs.\nInventory & Retail Readiness\nMonitor inventory availability and fulfillment risks impacting Amazon performance.\nPartner with Supply Chain and Planning to mitigate out-of-stocks and improve service levels.\nEnsure operational readiness for product launches, promotions, seasonal events, and assortment changes.\nCoordinate inventory, fulfillment, and operational requirements to support commercial plans.\nCompliance & Chargebacks\nLead chargeback analysis, root-cause identification, and corrective action initiatives.\nDevelop strategies to reduce compliance violations, deductions, and operational defects.\nPartner cross-functionally to improve packaging, labeling, routing, and fulfillment compliance.\nMonitor trends and implement preventative measures to reduce future chargebacks.\nEscalation & Cross-Functional Leadership\nLead resolution of complex operational issues impacting Amazon performance.\nCoordinate cross-functional teams to drive timely resolution and sustainable corrective actions.\nPartner closely with the Amazon Account Manager to align operational execution with business objectives.\nCommunicate performance, risks, opportunities, and key initiatives to stakeholders and leadership.\nTeam Leadership\nLead, coach, and develop Amazon Operations Specialists.\nSet priorities, establish performance expectations, and support career development.\nEnsure effective cross-training, business continuity, and operational coverage.\nFoster a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.\nWho You Are\nRequired\n5+ years of experience in ecommerce, customer operations, supply chain, customer experience, or Amazon operations.\n2+ years of people leadership experience.\nHands-on experience managing Amazon Vendor Central operations.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis skills.\nExperience managing cross-functional initiatives and operational performance.\nProven ability to influence and collaborate across multiple business functions.\nPreferred\nExperience supporting Amazon 1P retail operations.\nKnowledge of inventory planning, fulfillment, compliance, and chargeback management.\nExperience with ERP, EDI, and ecommerce platforms.\nExperience developing operational reporting, KPIs, and performance scorecards.\nStanley 1913 is committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
