In addition to performing standard production assembly responsibilities, this role is expected to support training and onboarding efforts and provide flexible coverage across multiple jobs to help address operational gaps.\nYou’ll get to:\nComplete assigned production activities according to ISO work instructions\nSuccessfully complete production assignments within the allotted takt time\nSet up workstations as needed\nComplete visual inspections of both in-process and finished products\nCheck in-process and finished parts using appropriate fixtures and gauges when required\nPerform operator level maintenance as needed\nAbide by all SBD policies and procedures\nFollow all SBD safety rules and regulations\nReport any safety or quality issues to the appropriate personnel\nMaintain a clean and organized work area\nIdentify concerns and provide insight for continuous improvement opportunities\nLearn and maintain proficiency in a variety of assembly jobs in order to provide coverage where needed across the operation\nProvide support in areas experiencing staffing shortages or operational gaps, when trained and qualified to perform the work\nServe as a trainer for new hires by supporting onboarding, job instruction, and on-the-job training in assigned work areas\nHelp promote consistency in training, safe work practices, and quality expectations for new employees\nOther related production duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader\nWho You Are\nYou always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
