The Entry Level Engineer responsibilities include assisting with the development of product and testing programs, operating laboratory equipment, creating test reports and evaluating test results to support the Mechanical Anchor product line category.\nYou also have: \nJunior or Senior Engineering Student - Mechanical, Civil or Structural Engineering Preferred\nSelf-motivated, creative, goal-oriented, and good team player.\nExcellent problem-solving skills & hands on abilities.\nGood experience in using MS Office software (Excel, Word, etc.).\nProject management skills\nExperience or willingness to perform technical testing and reporting.\nExcellent communication, organization & time management skills\nWhat You’ll Do \nAs an Intern, you’ll be part of our Anchors Team located in Brewster, NY.\nSpecifically, you may be involved with:\nSuccessfully support the design process to achieve all quality, performance, schedule and cost objectives in a cross-functional environment.\nPerform hands-on product testing, data collection and definition of product specifications.\nPerform testing and data analysis of Seismic Anchor testing.\nInvestigate design issues & test failures, and identify, recommend, and implement corrective actions to components.\nWork with independent agencies to manage anchor test programs and product approvals.\nBe involved with cross-functional teams (Product Marketing, Reliability, Field Research) to help identify and define customer requirements and develop the tests to duplicate end user tasks.\nSupport the builds of engineering, manufacturing, and pilot lots to ensure that the products are assembled and tested in the correct way to ensure long term product quality.\nSupport the Phase Gate process for all engineering requirements to deliver a product that meets our history of guaranteed tough products\n The Details:\nThis position will provide you with:\nA utility role interacting with key members of a Fortune 500 company.\nA flexible schedule featuring a max of 40 hours.\nOpportunity for career advancement upon graduation.\nCompetitive compensation and career development opportunities.\nThe base pay range for this position in Maryland is $22.00- $27.00 per hour.
