You’ll get to:\nDirects shipping handlers, leaders and clerks assigned to the Shipping Department and ensures employees adhere to safety requirements.\nStages of outgoing shipments to include accuracy of paperwork, scanning for accuracy and ASN, deletion from inventory and transportation.\nCoordinates Cycle Counts and Physical Inventories\nResponsible for shipping customers’ orders, plating operations, returning goods on time, and truck line ups.\nAssures accuracy of inventories and locations.\nSupervises pick schedules to ensure on-time shipping.\nInstructs employees on use of bar code scanning equipment.\nPerform supervisory duties relating to personnel issues.\nIdentifies and ensures training requirements are met.\nWorks with Customer Service Manager or Coordinates to enhance shipping processes.\nEnsure adequate packaging supplies are on hand.\nMay be required to prepare shipper, ASN and finalize.\nEnsures shipping area and racks are neat, clean, and orderly.\nHandles emergency customer orders as required.\nMust be willing to work any shift\nThe Person:\nYou love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions.
