You’ll get to:\nResponsible for planning, scheduling, and managing materials for production, with a strong focus on purchasing, inventory management, and work order (WO) planning.\nPlan, Monitor, and Optimize Material & Inventory Flow\nCoordinate Cross- Functional Supply Chain Activities to ensure targets are being met.\nCommunicate with outside suppliers on delivery schedules and resolve supply chain issues, including delays, discrepancies, and inventory variances.\nMaintain inventory integrity and documentation to include but not limited to material demand, supply patterns, inventory trends, audits, cycle counts, etc.\nDrive Continuous Improvement and Compliance to follow with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements\nAssess supplier performance in terms of quality, cost, and delivery timeliness.\nMaintain kanban supermarket inventory and monitor discrepancies. \nPlan and maintain accurate inventory levels and control to assure 100% customer service levels while minimizing financial exposure.\nMonitor and control inventory integrity, including product identification and location programs.\nRelease purchase orders and establish contracts in accordance with corporate policies.\nDocument and dispose of damaged product per company policy.\nCommunicate and report effectively\nIdentify and resolve discrepancies in customer orders and inventory, conducting research and recommending corrective actions.\nHelp develop methods and procedures for effective inventory movement in the warehouse.\nEnsure on-time delivery of purchases and timely, accurate purchase order maintenance.\nParticipate in operational lean activities and other projects as assigned.\nThe Person:\nYou love to learn and grow and be acknowledged for your valuable contributions. You also have:\nBachelor’s degree required, degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.\nThree (3) to five (5) years of experience in material planning, inventory management, purchasing, or a related position.\nProficiency in ERP systems and material management software, JDE a plus.\nStrong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.\nExcellent communication, collaboration and time management abilities.\nKnowledge of manufacturing processes, supply chain management, and work order planning.\nAttention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping and inventory management.\nDeep understanding of material requirement planning and inventory control.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCertification in APICS (CPIM or CSCP) or equivalent recognized supply chain certification.\nExperience with lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives.\nAdvanced Excel skills and familiarity with forecasting methodologies.\nStandard work hours will generally apply but overtime and deviated work schedules (early, late, weekends) will be required on occasion and often without notice.\nMust have the ability and flexibility to travel by automobile, airplane, bus, train, boat, etc.\nSome domestic, US.
