Join our top-notch team of 54,000+ professionals in 60 countries who are making their mark on some of the world’s most beloved brands, including DEWALT, CRAFTSMAN, STANLEY, BLACK+DECKER, IRWIN, LENOX, and more.\nWhat You’ll Do:\nLead the Outbound Department with consistency and effectiveness, driving your team to meet and exceed current shipping goals.\nPlan and schedule the efficient use of manpower and equipment to achieve daily objectives seamlessly.\nPossess a broad knowledge of procedures used in various distribution center functions, understanding workload priorities and their relationships with other departments.\nEmbrace the team environment with excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.\nDemonstrate a strong commitment to safety, housekeeping, productivity, and quality with proven results.\nMaintain exemplary attendance, promptly respond to special operations requests, and support overtime as needed.\nContinuously monitor department performance against standards, seeking operational improvements and advising the Supervisor of issues requiring attention.\nSupport the development of team members through coaching and various training initiatives, displaying consistency, fairness, and recognition for outstanding work or ideas.\nConduct root cause analysis of shipping issues and implement corrective actions.\nCoordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and timely order fulfillment.\nDevelop and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs in the shipping process.\nMaintain accurate records of shipments, inventory, and personnel activities.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nWho You Are:\nYou always strive to do a good job…but wouldn’t it be great if you could do your job and do a world of good?
