The role emphasizes structural design, multidisciplinary coordination, technical mentoring, and client collaboration on projects in the United States and abroad.\nWhat You Will Be Doing:\nSupport industrial and energy projects, including structural support for mechanical systems, HVAC equipment, equipment foundations, slabs, pits, and industrial structures.\nPerform and manage structural design for new buildings, renovations, and utility-related facilities.\nDetermine client requirements and develop reports, specifications, drawings, instructions, and related documents.\nParticipate in predesign site visits and design charrettes, as required.\nAssist with fee estimates, scopes of work, and design schedules for proposals.\nCoordinate with EITs and designers on calculations, drawings, and related documentation.\nCoordinate technical work within the structural team and interface with other disciplines.\nEvaluate design changes and communicate recommendations to project managers and clients.\nServe as technical liaison between project teams and client representatives.\nVisit construction sites to monitor progress.\nWork compensated overtime when needed for project and team workload.\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a structural emphasis, or a related discipline.\nExperience and Technical Capabilities\nAt least 8 years of experience.\nExperience designing spread footings, mat foundations, slab-on-grade systems, drilled piers, and other deep foundation systems.\nExperience serving as structural lead on multiple concurrent and/or large projects.\nProficiency in reinforced-concrete and structural-steel design.\nDemonstrated experience leading structural engineering projects and coordinating multidisciplinary teams.\nStrong knowledge of ICC building codes, ASCE standards, ACI concrete design standards, and AISC steel design standards.\nExcellent written and verbal communication with clients and team members.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license, or ability to obtain licensure within six months of hire.\nPreferred Qualifications:\nAbility to travel internationally.\nExperience with seismic design of buildings and non-building structures.\nExperience designing equipment and machinery foundations subject to dynamic or operational loads.\nPreferred
