The primary focus of this position is to provide transportation and courier services for Resident/participants and departments within and for St. Ann’s Community. \nSt. Ann’s Community Offers:\nPart time (Tues.,Thurs.& Fri.)\nStarting at $17.50 - $21.90/hr.\nMedical, Vision and Dental plans available\nTuition reimbursement and scholarship opportunities\n403(b) Retirement Plan\nGreat Employee benefits such as Dash Pass, discounted RTS Bus passes and much more!\nJob Description:\nProvides door-to- door transportation services for residents/participants:\nAssists wheelchair and ambulatory residents/participants in and out of vehicles.\nSecures all riders with seat belts and/or wheelchair locks.\nAssists residents with groceries to / from bus\nProvides safe, professional transportation services for residents/participants:\nParticipates in preventative maintenance program for vehicles and maintains records as indicated.\nMaintains daily inspection log\nMaintains vehicle (s) in clean condition by getting them washed and maintaining a clean interior of vehicle\nParticipates in Medical Motors sponsored driver training and evaluation programs.\nObeys all traffic and vehicle laws and is responsible for any fines or tickets relating to the manner in which the vehicles are operated \nProvides courier service for departments within St. Ann’s Community:\nOperates Cherry Ridge bus and courier car as assigned.\nAssists Resident Services Mgr. And / or Concierge in scheduling/routing.\nActs as backup in Coordinator’s absence.\nMaintains vehicles in a clean and safe condition:\nReliable, dependable and punctual in use of work time.\nDemonstrates initiative and cooperation in professional working relationships.\nCompiles with applicable organizational policies and procedures i.e., mandatory education, health requirement, HR requirements.\nDemonstrates a commitment of quality through participation on improvement teams and identifying opportunities for improvement. \nWorks to improve performance relative to the system’s organizational goals.\nConsistently delivers high quality service being responsive to customer needs. \n\nCandidate Requirements:\nHigh school diploma or (GED)\nValid NYS Driver’s License\nPrior Driver experience and/or at least one year of working with the elderly preferred.\nStrong knowledge of the Rochester area and able to read and understand maps\n\nJoin us in Caring for the Most Important People on Earth.\nThe employment policy of St. Ann’s Community is to provide equal opportunity to all persons.
