We anticipate the needs of our customers and business partners and deliver reliable, customer-centric technology services\nThe Enterprise Security Operations Center (ESOC) serves as the central hub for protecting Staples' people, facilities, assets, and business operations. Our team monitors and responds to security events across North America, supports crisis management and business continuity efforts, and partners with leaders throughout the organization to help ensure a safe, secure, and resilient workplace.\nThe Enterprise Security Operations Center Supervisor leads the day-to-day operations of the Enterprise Security Operations Center. In this role, you will supervise a team of security professionals, oversee physical security technologies and processes, and serve as an escalation point for complex security incidents and emergency situations.\nYou will help execute operational plans, maintain compliance with security standards, support executive protection and crisis management initiatives, and identify opportunities to continuously improve Staples’ security capabilities. This is an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by helping protect our people, facilities, and business operations across North America.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nSupervise daily Enterprise Security Operations Center activities, including continuous monitoring, incident detection, threat assessment, and timely response to security events.\nLead the investigation, escalation, resolution, and documentation of physical security incidents, access control issues, workplace safety concerns, and emergency situations.\nLead, coach, and develop a team of security professionals while maintaining appropriate staffing coverage for a 24/7 operation.\nManage and optimize physical security systems, including CCTV, access control, alarm monitoring, mass notification, and related security technologies.\nDevelop, maintain, and enforce security procedures, response protocols, compliance standards, and operational best practices.\nConduct risk assessments, identify vulnerabilities, and implement mitigation strategies to reduce enterprise security risk.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders, law enforcement, emergency responders, security vendors, and other external partners during incidents and investigations.\nSupport executive protection, crisis management, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and enterprise risk management initiatives.\nMonitor operational performance, conduct post-incident reviews, and recommend process and technology improvements.\nPrepare and deliver incident reports, executive briefings, intelligence summaries, and operational recommendations.\nIdentify opportunities to streamline, automate, and standardize security operations and procedures.\nSupport the implementation of new security technologies, programs, and Basic Qualifications:\nHigh School Diploma/GED \nAssociate degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Emergency Management, Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field or equivalent work experience.\n6+ years of progressively responsible experience in security operations, asset protection, law enforcement, military security, emergency management, intelligence operations, or a related field.\n2+ years of leadership, supervisory, team lead, or shift management experience.\nExperience managing security incidents, emergency situations, investigations, or crisis events.\nExperience using physical security technologies, including CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and alarm monitoring platforms.\nExperience conducting risk assessments, security reviews, or operational audits.\nKnowledge of physical security principles, incident response procedures, emergency preparedness, and threat mitigation practices.\nExperience developing, implementing, or enforcing security policies, procedures, and operational standards.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office applications and security management platforms.\nAbility to work flexible schedules as needed to support a 24/7 operation.\nWhat’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:\nBachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Security Management, Information Security, Emergency Management, Business Administration, or related field.\nProfessional certifications such as CPP, PSP, LPC, CISSP, or comparable industry credentials.\nExperience supervising three or more professional-level associates.\nExperience supporting executive protection programs.\nExperience working within a Security Operations Center or Enterprise Security Operations Center.\nExperience using threat intelligence and OSINT platforms such as Ontic, Flashpoint, or similar solutions.\nExperience administering mass notification systems such as Everbridge.\nExperience leading crisis management exercises, emergency preparedness programs, or large-scale incident response activities.\nExperience implementing security technology upgrades, integrations, or process improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge of business continuity planning, enterprise risk management, and crisis management practices.\nExperience working within a complex, multi-site, or global operating
