Our network of distribution, fulfillment, fleet, furniture installation and professional teams work together in fun and safe environments to deliver state-of-the-art products, services, and expertise to our customers.\nWhat you’ll be doing:\nRun reports in systems such as WMS, Sunbeam or other WMS or labor reporting systems.\nAssist department leader in managing the workflow as needed.\nProvide required information to supervisors and managers to meet reporting and metric requirements.\nAssist with communicating information to departmental teams.\nAnalyze data from information and develop recommendations for action or improvement.\nMaintain system as required due to upgrades or business changes.\nEnsure compliance with systems and SOPS and audit activity to ensure compliance.\nCoordinate and communicate any major changes or enhancements to the systems.\nWork closely with Clerical support, supervisors, and managers at the location and those providing central administration and/or services.\nInteract with customer service to expedite and manage high touch customer requests, research complaints, and resolve issues.\nProvide support and backup for operations specialist role in other departments as needed.\nProvide support and backup in various warehouse functional areas as needed.\nDirect associate concerns to department leader.\nWhat you bring to the table:\nSignificant above average math skills.\nPerceptible verbal, written and communications skills with a focus on detail oriented.\nCalculable building metrics and knowledge of Staples product flow and the interdependencies between departments.\nAbility to help supervisors lead and coordinate effective work operations using data and information to help improve processes.\nAbility to work as a team member by interacting and communicating with fellow associates in a cooperative and effective manner.\nQualifications:\nWhat’s needed- Basic Qualifications:\n1+ years of basic Microsoft Excel computer skills\n1+ years of basic knowledge (depending on location) of EXE/PKMS/WMS, Galaxy AS/400 system, Sunbeam, BRIO, Cubiscan dimension calculation equipment, AMS software for Cubiscan\nCertification in Material Handling equipment or willingness to learn\nWhat’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:\nMicrosoft Access experience preferred\nKnowledge of MS Teams environment preferred including Power BI\nWe Offer:\nCompetitive Pay \nInclusive culture with associate-led Business Resource Groups.\nStaples offers both Full-Time and Part-Time benefits.
