The Senior Project Manager must be a polished communicator, comfortable presenting to and influencing executive leadership, including Steering Committees and senior business stakeholders.\nSpecifically, You Will:\nProvide leadership for one or more complex, high-impact projects, utilizing established project lifecycle methodologies and best practices.\n\nBalance and manage stakeholder expectations regarding project scope, schedule, budget, and risk, proactively identifying and mitigating potential issues.\n\nEnsure project objectives align with Staples’ overall business strategy and IT technology vision.\n\nDevelop, maintain, and execute comprehensive project plans that deliver expected results.\n\nLead and collaborate with virtual, cross-functional teams, including IT, business, and third-party partners, fostering alignment and promoting Staples’ values.\n\nIdentify, manage, and coordinate project resources, ensuring clear roles, responsibilities, and accountability.\n\nMentor and guide project team members to develop their skills and capabilities, promoting a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.\n\nCommunicate project status, risks, issues, and changes effectively to all relevant stakeholders.\n\nOversee project financials, including cost estimates, forecasts, and monitoring actual spend against budget.\n\nSome of what you need:\nBS/BA degree or equivalent (MBA an asset).\n\nPMP certification required.\n\nStrong understanding of Retail, Print Services, and B2B operating models, including customer order management, fulfillment workflows, and service-level expectations.\n\nExecutive presence with demonstrated ability to communicate complex technical and financial information clearly to senior leadership audiences.\n\nExperience managing initiatives that impact customer-facing systems and enterprise commercial platforms.\n\n7+ years of experience in an IT organization required with demonstrated track record of delivering projects in Retail, Print or B2B environments.\n\nDemonstrated success in working within cross functional teams and effective project management and analytical/decision-making skills.\n\nPhysical demands/working conditions:\nOffice environment -
